Where were the incentives for small business entrepreneurs? Why wasn’t there a small offering to the masses by increasing the personal allowance for the lowest paid? I welcome the childcare & pension reforms, but these will only impact a relatively small section of society. There was hardly anything meaningful for small business owners, at a time when so many are struggling with rising costs and an uncertain demand environment. A heart breaking disease, but one that many great organisations are fighting to beat for good. There are around 11,500 breast cancer deaths in the UK every year, that's 32 every day. She had overcome so many of the most unthinkable challenges in her life, that I had almost assumed nothing could get in her way.īreast cancer is the 4th most common cause of cancer death in the UK. Waking up this morning and reading that she had passed away felt surreal. Inside our walls her name was repeated week after week after week, because of her unbelievable story, her resilience and her grace despite it all. Once in a while when I have a conversation with someone on my show, they leave what I can only describe as an "energy" on my whole team - Jacqueline was one of these people. Her story is so exceptional, inspiring and trailblazing that it's hard to fathom. Immensely saddened to hear of the passing of the wonderful Jacqueline Gold. Survived a cancer scare and had large tumour removed from digestive system via laparotomy last year. Survived a high speed, head on vehicle collision in her early 30’s resulting in 3 months in intensive care, 2 years wheelchair bound, extensive rehab to learn to walk again and 10 years of operations. Sacrificed Mummy duties to work several jobs to provide for us. This is proof that you do not need to come from a perfect or privilidged background to make it into F1.
